Video platform support and limitations

Understand what affects video, playlist and subtitle availability before choosing a download workflow in WarpFetch.

Check the task, not just the platform name

A supported platform name does not mean every video, playlist, quality or subtitle track is available. A useful compatibility check covers the specific URL, access conditions and output you need.

What to check Why it matters
Public access Removed, private or restricted media may not be available
Single video vs playlist A working single video does not establish playlist support
Output quality and audio Sources can expose different formats and tracks
Subtitle language Subtitles must exist and be available for that media
Current platform behavior Site changes can affect previously working links

What the current application offers

WarpFetch 1.2.1 includes browser shortcuts to services such as YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Bilibili, SoundCloud and Twitch. A shortcut opens a website; it is not evidence that every download, login or protected item on that service works.

The current subtitle controls are scoped to eligible YouTube video and playlist tasks. A single-video task needs an available subtitle track and must not be audio-only or a live stream. Playlist items use the selected language, but an item without that track can produce a subtitle warning.

Audio-only download is selected from a parsed online source. This website does not advertise importing arbitrary local video files for conversion, because that workflow has not been verified.

Try a small sample first

Use the free Windows edition with a short item you are permitted to save. Check the result in your intended player before starting a large batch. For subtitle workflows, read the subtitle file guide.

Ask about your specific platform

For a compatibility question, send support the platform name, whether you need a single item or a playlist, the desired output and your WarpFetch version. Share a public example only when appropriate; do not send passwords, private cookies or access tokens.

This page does not certify a platform-by-platform test matrix. No universal platform count or guaranteed success rate is asserted here. Platform-specific tutorials will include their tested scope when that evidence is available.
